Interference With BRA Contract?

Question:

A potential Buyer is very upset with their agent. They have signed a Buyer Representation Agreement.

How can I deal with this potential Buyer and stay out of trouble?

Answer:

This is potentially a very difficult situation. The best course of action is to have the Buyer contact their lawyer, terminate the contract and then deal with you. However, that will cost them some money.

The next best choice is for the Buyer to contact another agent and go through the same process. This will likely cost money too. The issue from your perspective is that you want the next Buyer Representation Agreement. The switch from them to you is likely “interference”. Avoid that with third party involvement.
