Comment

They all dealt with Acknowledgements by Self-represented Parties.

Who makes these decisions for OREA? First, to produce them and then to drop them? This is completely amateurish.

The “RECO Information and Disclosure to Self-represented Party” already contains an Acknowledgement. The SRP will already sign this document. All OREA had to do was read this. They didn’t have to dream up a document that was an Acknowledgement just so they would have one more Form. In fact, they drafted up 16 more Forms, all of which were unnecessary duplications.

Now, they are all gone!

By the way, the Act came into force on 1 December 2024, so waiting over 11 months to deal with this correctly appears somewhat absurd.
