Question:
How do two agents at ABC Brokerage know that they both are in multiple representation on the same listing if they never saw one another?
Answer:
RECO takes the position that the Listing Agent should inform both agents of ABC Brokerage that they are in multiple representation.
Instead of this, which is difficult, in a situation where there are over 20 Offers, each Agent at ABC should have to register their Offer with their own front desk. The problem arises at 4:00 pm in the afternoon and can easily be dealt with rather than 8:00 pm at night when they may (or may not) receive notice from the Listing agent.
