Answer:
You could have a new underground stream running under your property. The cause could be a new development to the north. It can end up causing a re-routing of underground streams. So, if you are now noticing this for the first time, it may be worth looking into.
Imagine a large scale development with a 40 storey building. It will require a fairly deep basement.
If it alters the underground streams in some way then, you could suddenly find it running by your place. Actually, you would have to dig, because it’s under your basement, and now the ground is a little unstable,
