The Attorney is not permitted to make a Will, but basically can do everything else.
Here’s the section in the standard Form:
“I authorize my attorney(s) to do, on my behalf, any and all acts, which I could do if capable, except make a will, ..”
This is based upon the restrictions in the Substitute Decisions Act.
Substitute Decisions Act
7 (2) The continuing power of attorney may authorize the person named as attorney to do on the grantor’s behalf anything in respect of property that the grantor could do if capable, except make a will.
